FUTURE CITY GAME
Future City Game is a pioneering way of developing partnerships with key audiences in the UK and overseas that are committed to making cities better places for the future. It combines a traditional board-game approach, with creative consultation methods over a two day competitive process which enables people to find solutions to long-term challenges facing cities.
The game was developed, piloted and evaluated by the British Council over a period of two years and ULS was recently contracted to review the concept, design game methods, develop a game brand and design a physical game kit to take it into a real world environment.
After a series of testing, prototyping and review, the game has gone to manufacture and the first steps to global roll out are under way. Games are now running in Russian and Northern Europe regions and ULS is working in partnership with the British Council on rolling the game out in Scotland.
