Don has over ten years experience in the Technology Sector, starting his career with Leicester based Virtual Reality pioneers Virtuality in 1994. The next nine years were spent in London with leading interactive agencies Oyster Partners and Crown Business Communications before returning to Scotland as Operations Manager with character animation pioneers DA Group.

Don joins Urban Learning Space following a year in IT systems consultancy and in addition to leading the companies involvement in the IMPROVE and CINeSPACE projects, is responsible for overall technical strategy and product development.

After gaining BA (Hons) in Fine Art at the School of Television and Imaging at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee, Sarah has spent six years in Web and Multimedia Production.

Joining the Lighthouse in July 2002 as part of the Real: Creative Learning project, Sarah went on to manage the team until its completion in 2004. Involved in the design and delivery of numerous educational and training programmes with Real, Sarah also worked on the development and dissemination of creative web based learning materials for urban communities throughout the Glasgow area.

Gwen started her career in the arts as a researcher for a London based journalist after spending time living and working in Amsterdam. She then went on to work within education in both primary and secondary settings before completing an MPhil in Art and Design in Organisational Contexts at Glasgow School of Art.

Until early 2006 Gwen was Programme Manager for Visual Arts and Training with Glasgow-based community arts company Impact Arts, where she managed their professional development and visual arts projects. Gwen joined the Urban Learning Space team in 2006 as Creative Learning Manager to lead on ArenA and further develop the company's community enterprise projects.

Joanne Finlay

Joanne joined ULS in April 2007 following two years with the University of Ulster, where she was involved in a knowledge transfer partnership in conjunction with a local training and development consultancy. With direct experience in software development project management, Joanne has delivered a number of e-learning applications and supporting programmes.

Joanne has an MA (Hon's) degree in Political Theory and Sociology from the University of Glasgow (2000).

Yvonne has worked in the events industry in Scotland since 1999. Specialising in the arts, music and cultural sectors, she has event managed and coordinated a wide range of inter-disciplinary events from large scale outdoor festivals and concerts to product launches and conferences. In addition to coordinating and programming Urban Learning Space’s workshop, event and seminar series, Yvonne also manages Urban Learning Space's marketing, communication and press activity.

Web Projects Manager - Alison Hagan

Alison manages the delivery of the web applications developed by Urban Learning Space, as well as looking after all IT requirements. With an MSc in Information Technology from Glasgow University, she has been with the organisation two years, and in currently working StoryBox.

Most of Calum's current projects revolve around so called "web 2.0" technologies. One such project, StoryBox, aims to engage adults by encouraging them to share stories, memories and opinions on a web based platform.
